Hi there! I'm a professional English to Spanish translator, editor, and educator with an extensive academic background in linguistics, 11+ years of international work experience, and a lifelong passion for languages and intercultural communication. I'm also the creator of Emerald Words, a web-based Language Studio where I provide high-quality language services for private individuals, companies, and institutions worldwide. More specifically, I specialize in creative language. As a translator, most of my work falls within the scope of literary translation, subtitling, and game localization; although I regularly translate a wide range of digital media content, marketing materials, and educational resources too. As an editor, I provide editing and proofreading services for a variety of manuscript types (books, scripts, articles, etc.), both in English and Spanish. And finally, as an educator, I help language learners of all ages and levels master their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

• M.A. in Hispanic Language & Literature from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

• M.A. in Modern Languages & Literatures from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

• B.A. in English from the University of Valladolid.
